Our Mission

Waste has value: our goal is to give new life to production residues, wood packaging and construction materials, as well as wooden furniture.

EGGER and the Timberpak Network

EGGER is an Austrian multinational company operating 22 plants worldwide and a leading manufacturer of wood-based materials. Its product portfolio includes raw materials for the furniture industry, flooring, OSB and other construction products. The wood-based secondary raw materials supplied through the Timberpak network are used in chipboard production.

The collected wood material is prepared, processed, and given new life in EGGER’s plants, ensuring sustainable resource use and consistently high quality.

Timberpak Budapest

The aim of the Timberpak Network is to manage and support the handling and recycling of waste wood in a fully integrated, direct process – from the producer to final utilization.

Timberpak Budapest is the 24th site in this network and began its operations in Hungary in 2025.

Regional

We organize wood procurement on a regional basis. More than 75% of the purchased volume comes from local partners.

Direct

We procure wood directly. More than 75% of the purchased volume is sourced through direct acquisition.

Partnership

We procure wood through long-term, environmentally conscious partnerships. More than 75% of the purchased volume comes from our sustainable business relationships.
